When a landlord and tenant enter into an agreement with each other they need to be fully advised of the rights and obligations being created on behalf of both parties.
We at O’Hanrahan Lally have vast experience in acting on behalf of both landlords and tenants in relation to difficulties that sometimes arise. All tenancies should be registered with the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB) and if a dispute arises between a landlord and tenant then the Dispute Resolution Department of the PRTB will consider the matter and deliver a judgment in respect of the disagreement. See www.prtb.ie for further information.
In more urgent circumstances a High Court application for an injunction may also be appropriate depending on the circumstances and we at O’Hanrahan Lally have successfully acted for both landlords and tenants in such a scenario.
